PC Maintenance and Repair

We have found this TANN class to be very helpful with our career
selections. We
wanted to take this class, so we would have a better view of the
computer repair world,
and we have really gotten a great look into it. We have learned a
lot about how to repair
computers and maintain them so they keep working properly. The labs
teach us a lot
about setting up computer hardware and software, we really
appreciate this class being
offered to us students in Stanton and hope that it will continue to
expand since there is
such a demand for IT people right now. We have increased our
knowledge in the
computer realm tenfold simply because of this class. It has given
us a great foundation to
build upon through college because this class is much different
than high school classes.
It is much more individually based and makes us use study skills to
learn a lot more than
just a regular high school pop quiz. We will be much more prepared
for college and our
life in general because of this class.
We find it important to be educated about computers in general.
Most people
know little about computers and the advanced knowledge taught from
these TANN
classes has helped us gain an advantage over a lot of people. To
understand how the
computer runs and thinks itself you must know about the hardware
and software it runs
on. This is an area we where almost completely in the dark before.
Without TANN we
would have ever learned how a computer operates and therefore would
never be able to
solve the problems our computers have sometimes. To fully
understand we got to take
apart the actual computers and see how things work and in what
processes. It was
important to learn how the computer thinks because you can then
understand why
something is going wrong and how to fix it. Our overall
satisfaction of TANN is very
great. Ifwe were asked to rate TANN, we would both answer ten
often. Thank you, once
again, for offering this class to high school students.
