State Wrestlers!

State Wrestling was February 14th through the 16th. Stanton wrestled class D and we sent 5 guys. Robbie Johnson - 112, Paul Cheyney - 135, Grant Nordby - 119, Greg Brandl - 160, and Tanner Timperley - 285. Grant Nordby and Greg Brandl each went 1 and 2. Robbie Johnson finished 5th this year. Paul Cheyney finished 6th place. And Tanner Timperley, weight 285, finished as State Champion! Congratulations to all wrestlers on a great year and 9th place over all at state. Good luck next year!
