District Track Results

The Stanton track teams competed at the C-5 district track meet
held in Hartington on Thursday, May 14. Individual state qualifiers
include: Pat Campbell in the long jump, Lexi Sieh in the high jump,
and Sam Unger in the triple jump and 300 meter low hurdles. Also
qualifying for state competition was the 400 meter relay team of
Pat Campbell, Josh Herscheid, Chase Quinn, and Tate Erbst. A school
record was set by Pat Campbell in the long jump. His leap of 22’ 4
inches bettered the old mark of 21’ 8 _ which had stood since 1990.
State competition begins Friday, May 22 at Burke Stadium in
Omaha.
