**Use Local Scholarship application to apply for these scholarships unless it is stated otherwise.
**Completed applications need to be turned in to the Guidance office no later than April 16, 2010.
**Payment of scholarships will be made after a thank you note has been received.
Elkhorn Acres Golf Club Scholarship
- $200
- parent or student must be a Elkhorn Acres member
- OR a member of the Stanton High School Golf team
- Complete separate application form
Farmers Cooperative Scholarship
- $250
- academic record
- financial need
Masonic-Eastern Star Scholarship
- $250 (last year $500)
- based on citizenship
- complete a separate application or local application form
PEO Sisterhood
- $200
- female
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- 200 word essay

Robert Barr Memorial Golf Scholarship
- $500
- member of the Stanton Golf Team
- complete local application form and a 250 word statement about your future and why you deserve this award
StantonCommunity Club Scholarship
- $300
- separate application required in addition to the local scholarship form
StantonEducation Association Scholarship
- $500
- majoring in Education
- same as foundation (grades/schedule)
Knights of Columbus Scholarship
- $250
- must be a St. Peter’s parishioner
- be sure to include in your essay, financial need and church, school and community activities
StantonTelecom Scholarships
- two awards, $750 each
- criteria includes activities, attending a Nebraska school, citizenship, leadership, GPA
StantonWoman’s Club Scholarship
- $300
- must attend Northeast Community College
- academic record will be considered
Stanton Music Boosters Scholarship
- amount to be determined
- must have been enrolled in either Stanton High School Varsity Choir or Band for the entirety of the senior year
- must enroll in a collegiate/university music ensemble class
- contact Mr. Brown or Mrs. Hirschman for more information/application
Stanton Staff Blue Jeans Scholarship
- $200
- complete local application form
- essay/resume should include awards received, community service, participation in organizations, career and educational goals, and why you should be considered for this scholarship
Stanton Community Club, Youth Development Student Volunteer Award
- $500
- the student who logs the most community service hours, maximum of 200 hours from each volunteer program
- hours need to be turned in to Mrs. Marshall by April 1st
Stanton Community Club Youth Coaches (football, boys and girls basketball)
- see Brad Johnson, Bob Meyer, Brian Nordby
- must attend Stanton Community Club/Stanton Youth Development meeting prior to the May meeting
Jack Best Memorial Scholarship
- Someone who could use the money
- Doesn’t have to be at the top of the class
- Doesn’t have many other scholarships
- Will be successful in college
- 2 - $500 scholarships
Paradise Feeders Scholarship
- Attending NECC
- Majoring in mechanics
- Planning on coming back to Stanton area
