Last Reguar Season Game BBB

On Friday the Mustangs traveled to Scribner to take on the Trojans, which is the last regular season game of the year. Both teams came out slow and only scored a combined 15 points. In the second quarter the Mustangs put up 20 points, to take a 6 point lead into halftime. The third quarter saw Stanton come out slow again and only able to put up 7 point. The fourth quarter was just like the second quarter with 20 points being scored. The Mustangs made some key stop and some timely free throws down the stretch to win 53-51. Coach Brown commented, "this was a nice win for the guys, hopefully it can give us momentum going into districts." Leading the way for the Mustangs was Josh Herscheid with 22 points, Spencer Nikolite had 11 points and Micheal Eberly put in 10 points.
