AVAC Team Academic Award for Volleyball
Launch the media gallery 1 playerStanton volleyball program would like to recognize the 2018 Varsity Volleyball Team not only placing 3rd at State Tournament this fall, along with at the Nebraska Coaches Association Clinic: The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced teams that have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2018-2019 season.
The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.
We are proud to announce for the 4th consecutive year the Mustang Volleyball Program has earned this award, and this year the 2018 Team had our highest team cumulative GPA of 3.87. Not only has this team demonstrated leadership, dedication and willingness to compete on the court, they have taken that same strong work ethic to the class room.
THANK YOU to the outstanding TEACHERS at Stanton Community Schools that strives on every level of education to prepare these young ladies to create their success beyond their high school years. #together
