On Thursday the Mustangs traveled to Clarkson to take on the Red Devils. It was a back and forth game. The Mustangs did not shoot the ball well on the night. They missed 21 shots in the lane and had problems keeping Clarkson off the boards. Clarkson went on to beat the Mustangs 54-49. “The kids played hard, we just missed too many point blank shots and it ended up costing us the game” stated Coach Brown. The Mustangs were led by Josh Herscheid’s 15 points, Mark Tomka 12 points, and Tate Erbst had 9 points.
