#2 NORFOLK CATHOLIC DEFEATS THE MUSTANGS

Stanton was able to punch in a touchdown right before half, when senior quarterback Marcus Spotanski connected with Sutton Pohlman on a 26 yard pass. “When your playing a great team like Norfolk Catholic, you have to control the clock and not have turnovers. Unfortunately we had some mistakes that they capitalized on”, said head coach Dave Stoddard.

To start the second half, both teams competed at a high level and the Mustangs would add another score in the 4th quarter when Spotanski found Moorghan Prusa on a 3 yd TD pass “ Although we made some mistakes throughout the game, we never gave up. I commended the kids on how hard they played for 4 quarters and with one week in the season to concentrate on getting better ” said Stoddard.
